DÉFINITION
- Initiated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Interagency Monitoring of Protected Visual Environments(IMPROVE) ambient monitoring network was formed to monitor Federal Class I Areas visibility at 20 locations. Now, the network has expanded to almost 110 sites.
