STRATIGRAPHIC SEQUENCE
DÉFINITION
- A set of deposited sedimentary beds that reflects the depositional environment of those beds and the geologic history of a region. A stratigraphic sequence is a chronologic succession of sedimentary rocks from older below to younger above without interruption.
