DIGITAL ELEVATION/DIGITAL TERRAIN MODELS
DÉFINITION
- Models that represent continuous elevation values over a topographic surface by a regular array of z-values, referenced to a common datum. Digital Elevation Models (DEM) and Digital Terrain Models (DTM) are used to predict the topography and terrain over a given land surface.
