- Any measurement related to the science and art of the organization and operation of animal/livestock/poultry systems so as to obtain a predetermined set of goals (e.g. profit maximization, sustainability, conservation of biodiversity, etc...). Includes, but not limited to, grazing systems, pasture systems, feedlot management, roost management, shepherding, etc...
