RADIOSONDES
DÉFINITION
- RADIOSONDES are expendable meteorological instrument packages, often aboard a free flight balloon, that measures, from the surface to the stratosphere, the vertical profiles of atmospheric variables and transmits the data via radio to a ground receiving station.
