- Phylum Chordata. Class Mammalia. Order Artiodactyla. Mysticeti, commonly called Baleen Whales, are sexually dimorphic distinguished by their enlarged head with two blow holes and thick blubber and rely on baleen plates to sieve small organisms from saltwater during feeding.
