NITROUS OXIDE
DÉFINITION
- Nitrous oxide (N2O) is a greenhouse gas produced from ocean upwelling and soils in tropical and temperate regions. Ice core studies have shown that nitrous oxide increases with temperature in the Northern Hemisphere.
