DEFINITION

  • Jason-class Altimeter will collect data in the gap between the KaRIn swaths. It will send and receive signals that travel straight up and down. Each pulse's round-trip travel time will be used to determine Sea Surface height. More Information: https://swot.jpl.nasa.gov/flight_systems.htm
