  • Vaisala's U.S. National Lightning Detection Network (NLDN) is the most scientifically accurate and reliable lightning information system, monitoring cloud-to-ground lightning activity across the continental United States, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. NLDN information includes date and time, location, cloud type, polarity, peak amplitude, and error ellipse. Also, NLDN can deliver information in real-time or near real-time.
